Been on leave and all lazy. I totally have time but have just been ignoring you. Sorry. It's been too long since I bummed at home and do nothing (since July when I was unemployed, remember?).
Alright. Updates.
I am so. hooked. on. NIKITA! A little late I know. But hey, I am catching up! But really, I am not so hooked on the series. Yes, it is quite interesting and all, but mostly, I think I am deeply in love with Maggie Q! *melts at the thought of her*
Anyways. So I stayed up last night to watch the show one episode after another and before i know it, it was 3 a.m. already! So I went to bed, tossed and turned for a bit before i finally fell asleep and BOOM! 9a.m. and the renovation work at my neighbour's house has started. $%#^$@*%#^#%">#^$@*%#^#%@!!! 6 hours of sleep during leave period is UNACCEPTABLE! And how am I supposed to take pretty picture for my new passport which I will have to look at everytime I travel for the next 5 years or so?!
All groggy, i dragged myself up, watched another episode of NIKITA before i could
(I really should work harder on that one.)
Before I could start my lazy Wednesday, I got a text from my Project Manager asking if I am in town as she needs to pass some docs to me. So I told her that I am but was planning to head to the immigration office for my passport renewal. An hour later I got another message and there goes my holiday planning. Not thaaaat severe but I was summoned back to office for a one-hour meeting. Oh well, can't say I was left with a choice.
Luckily NickTheMo has done mo-ing about with his car and managed to come just in time to pick me up to run my errands! =D
I had to admit it really is not easy to be my boyfriend. Not that I am incapable of taking care of myself but it's always good to have a
- Check the location of the immigration office
- Make sure that you have all the documents required for passport renewal
- Drive you to an ATM machine to withdraw money - where even a double parking spot is impossible (You guessed it. Damansara Uptown.)
- Magically find a double parking spot and waited for you while you get pinned down by a guy promoting platinum credit card
- Wait for you to sign up for a platinum credit card (Don't ask!)
- Drive you to the first Immigration office
- Accompany you to have your passport photo taken (while making monkey faces trying to make you laugh throughout the count from 1 to 3) -_-
- Walk you to the passport renewal kiosk at the first Immigration office only to find out that their system is down
- Drive you to another Immigration office
- Run around with you to find the passport renewal kiosk
- Find out that the kiosk closes at 4pm (WHAT DO THEY DO AFTER 4PM?)
- Run back to the main office with you hoping to renew the passport manually
- Watch you as you fill up the form in case you miss a comma
- Wait in line with you for finger print scanning and payment
- Drive you to have awesome pre-movie beers when everything is done.
OK the last one was a bonus.
We watched MI4. Quite a nice movie. Laughed quite a bit even before we entered the hall due to the mild intoxication
Post movie, we were looking for a place for dinner and I suggested to head back to the bar for another quick pint to catch the last 15 minutes of happy hour. Craving for a pork burger, NickTheMo planned to pack one to the bar.
"Don't think they will allow outside food in the bar."
*serious contemplation*
"Hmm, then we bring inside food out and eat right outside the bar! I am sure there is no sign stopping us from that!"
*FAINT, WAKE UP, AND FAINT AGAIN!*
Who thinks like that?
-_-
